Standard Gauge Block Sets

Broomfield manufacture all grades of standard gauge sets in Metric and Imperial to EN ISO 3650: 1998.

All tungsten carbide gauge blocks are manufactured on machines specifically developed for the high precision lapping of gauge blocks.

Each set of Broomfield gauge blocks are supplied:

Complete with UKAS calibration certificate.
With an additional laminated case copy of the UKAS certificate.
With instructions for use and care
In a hardwood presentation case sourced from environmentally managed European forests.

Customised Gauge Block Sets

Specialising in the development of tungsten carbide gauge blocks enables Broomfield to offer a customised manufacturing service.

Customised sets or individual gauges to any customer's requirements.
Sizes from 0.20mm to 100mm and from 0.010 ins to 4.0 ins.
All sets are presented in a protective hardwood case.

Broomfield have extensive experience of supplying customised gauge block sets to international specialist automotive, aeronautical and defence industries.

Micrometer Test Sets

The routine checking of micrometers can be economically and effectively achieved using this micrometer test set. Broomfield manufacture sets in both Metric and Imperial.

Metric:
M8 3.1mm, 6.5mm, 9.7mm, 12.5mm, 15.8mm, 19.0mm, 21.9mm, 25.0mm
M10 2.5mm, 5.1mm, 7.7mm, 10.3mm, 12.9mm, 15.0mm, 17.6mm, 20.2mm, 22.8mm, 25.0mm

Imperial:
E8 .130ins, .250ins, .385ins, .500ins, .615ins, .750ins, .870ins, 1.00ins
E10 .105ins, .210ins, .315ins, .420ins, .500ins, .605ins, .710ins, .815ins, .920ins, 1.00ins

The above sets can be extended with three additional gauge blocks:
50mm (2ins), 75mm (3ins), 100mm (4ins)
thus enabling engineers to check larger micrometers.
